Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"The restaurant is big with many seating available however not filled with many customers during our visit on Tuesday. Variety foods, desserts, fruits, and cakes are provided. 70% are local Malaysian dishes. Staff are friendly, and customers' tables were cleared fast when the plates were empty. Surprisingly, the music heard over the sound system is a Christmas song whereby the community is celebrating Depavali two days ago and decoration in place."
"Friendly and great staff. The food was decent, nothing extraordinary, but enjoyable."
"Breakfast is definitely better than those other hotels in the area."
"Tried out this place since the hotel breakfast buffet is included in our stay package. The restaurant was spacious and serviced by ample staff. Food was better than most of hotel buffets with self served coffee, tea and juices. I personally like the nasi lemak station as it was well stocked with condiments and curry chicken. Eggs were precooked at the eggs station. Overall, a very good spread of buffet."
"We had 2 days complimentary breaksfast during our 2 day stay at Holiday Villa Johor Bahru and our entire stay and dine was super good and the service and attention by the staffs here is really very good especially Bella who constantly kept checking our needs during our dining there, thank you Ms. Bella and i hope your attentive nature at work pays back to you, all the best and good luck"
"Hi-Tea at Fern Pine Cafe is a good choice for weekend chill and chit chat with old friends. Basically the foods are not disappointed even thought it is not an international buffer. The price is around RM65+ during weekend, not sure for weekdays. Nice view from level 9. You won’t experience of hungry ghost situation and no long queue needed for your foods. Eat without stress. Hahaha. Enjoy!"
"This place is only serve breakfast and do not have any dinner buffet, the information on google was not accurate as we reach there and been told they do not serve any dinner!"
"Mid tier buffet with better than average table service. Bee Hoon was very springy but though it was labelled Singapore bee Hoon, I doubt it has any origins from Singapore. Prawns were sightly larger than average and seemed fresh (that’s good!). Fresh jackfruit - ripe but not browned. Cake was a sweet treat."
